The Emergency Response Project for Cholera in Yemen for 2025–2026, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, has provided medical services to 2,069 individuals from Dec. 3 to 9.
The project targeted areas most affected by the outbreak, aiming to reduce infection rates and curb the spread of cholera through preventive measures, including the deployment of specialized medical teams to screen and monitor travelers at air and land entry points.
These efforts come as an extension of the Kingdom’s humanitarian role, through KSrelief, in supporting Yemen’s health sector and limiting the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases.
