ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – On Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani inaugurated the implementation of a joint operation and management program for modern hospitals at al-Najaf al-Ashraf Teaching Hospital.

This initiative, the first of its kind in Iraq, is in partnership with reputable international companies specializing in managing health institutions and hospitals. The program aims to reduce the need for Iraqi citizens to seek treatment abroad, potentially saving significant sums of money.

During his visit, al-Sudani reviewed the program's implementation and observed the treatment of patients at the hospital. The program is a partnership with the Italian company San Donato, known for its expertise in hospital management.
