Muscat, 25 Apr (ONA) --- Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and governors from around Oman today held a consultative meeting to discuss cooperation and coordination about the best means to serve the public interest. The two sides considered means to unify efforts and ease local communities’ access to basic needs, including health services, in accordance with international standards.

The meeting also touched on the Ministry’s efforts to develop the health sector in various governorates, enhance integration among the governorates and study opportunities and available resources to achieve sustainable development in the health sector.

The meeting included two sessions. During the first session, titled “Future Aspirations and Opportunities”, the Health Minister gave a lecture on the ministry’s strategic approaches.
