The House of Representatives’ Health and Environment Committee discussed ways to enhance public health emergency response. This occurred during a workshop on “Responding to Public Health Emergency Threats, Enhancing Readiness, and Epidemic Challenges.” The three-day meeting involved medical and technical staff from across Libya.
Its goal was to raise the efficiency of healthcare workers. It also aimed to strengthen their capacities in emergency response. Key epidemic challenges and solutions were also discussed. The meeting took place in Benghazi. It was a partnership with the National Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. Several MPs were present.
