The acting General Director of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Gedarif State, Abdul-Nasir Hassan Ali, received at his office on Wednesday a performance report of the Dutch Doctors without Borders Organization, which provides medical services at Tenediba camp for the Ethiopian refugees in the state.

Abdul-Nasir has appreciated the partnership and cooperation in the fields of health and humanitarian work, expressing the ministry’s concern over existence of expired medicines at the organization's stores despite the urgent need for it, indicating that this issue will be discussed with the concerned authorities so that this does not happen in the future..

The organization explained that the demand for medicines was during the refugees emergencies period and the emergency in Al-Faw area in the past year, adding that the organization aim to implement a new system to avoid such issues in the future.
