Key findings:

- Women and children were disproportionately affected by the floods as they were inside their homes during the heavy rains, while men sheltered in public buildings such as mosques. 

- As such, women were more affected and represent a high percentage of the injured being treated through mobile health teams as of 14 May.

- Urgent needs include emergency trauma care, shelter, financial and cash assistance, non-food items, food assistance, and WASH facilities.
