PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani highlighted on Saturday, the government’s efforts in the health sector and its commitment to working with trusted global companies as a standard approach.
He emphasized the importance of specialized centers as "a cornerstone of healthcare services," calling for expanding such initiatives, given their advanced technologies and services, underscoring the necessity of continuing the implementation of health insurance, according to a statement by the PM Media Office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The Minister of Health presented to the Prime Minister the achievements accomplished during the government’s two years in office, in line with the government program. These include the completion of 13 new hospitals, 3 specialized centers, 2 burn centers, and 25 kidney treatment centers, in addition to 16 hospitals currently under construction. The Minister also highlighted progress in health insurance and joint management and operations, which have started yielding positive results for citizens.
