The third congress on cardiovascular diseases in women concluded in Rabat on Saturday, February 14. Organized by the Casablanca Association of Women Cardiologists, the two-day congress featured intensive scientific discussions with leading university professors, specialist doctors, and healthcare experts.

The event aligned with King Mohammed VI’s guidelines, calling for modernization of the national healthcare system, strengthening preventive measures, and promoting health awareness, with a special focus on women’s health as a cornerstone of family and societal well-being.

Hanane El Moslami, cardiologist and president of the association, stated that the organization was founded in 2023, is built on human, social, and medical foundations, and aims to raise awareness of women’s cardiovascular health. She highlighted that the congress brought together specialists to share the latest therapeutic and preventive advances, while also integrating an artistic and cultural dimension.

The third art exhibition by cardiologists, themed “The Heart of Women,” displayed artworks portraying the daily emotions and challenges faced by Moroccan women, delivering a powerful awareness message, particularly given that cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of female mortality, underscoring the need for early detection and preventive care.
