The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Save the Children Jordan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide mental health and psychosocial support to Gaza children with cancer receiving treatment in the Kingdom.
The agreement was signed by KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamesh and Save the Children Jordan CEO Dana Erekat.
The six-month program will serve 420 Gaza minors and caregivers through specialized mental health support, with KHCF staff receiving related training.
The agreement, Qatamesh said, reflects KHCF’s commitment to holistic care, integrating psychosocial support with treatment to help patients and families cope with cancer and the impact of war.
