KABUL (BNA) In its latest report published on Monday, the World Health Organization (WHO) revealed that it delivered vital health services to a staggering 812,700 individuals across Afghanistan during the month of March.
These services were made available through a network of 933 health centers established throughout the country.
The report highlights that women constituted 44% of the beneficiaries, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to addressing gender disparities in healthcare. Additionally, 33% of the individuals served were children and other vulnerable individuals, ensuring that the most at-risk populations were not overlooked.
