In recent years, Egypt has undertaken significant efforts to enhance women’s participation in the labour market and bolster the national economy. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to address population growth and promote sustainable family development. At the forefront of this effort is the Population Council, which has implemented a pioneering project, called “Our Health is Our Capital.” This initiative focuses on integrating reproductive health services into factory settings, empowering workers—especially women—by addressing their health and family planning needs.
