President of the Public Authority for Health Care Ahmed Al-Sobki met with Finland’s Ambassador to Cairo Pekka Kosonen on Monday to discuss cooperation in developing comprehensive health care and training health service providers in the governorates under the comprehensive health insurance system.
Al-Sobki expressed his happiness with the meeting, stressing his aspiration for more cooperation with Finland and to benefit from its experiences in the field of health care and human resource development, digital transformation, and the use of technologies.
He also stressed that the vision of the Health Care Authority to advance the health care services system is based on raising the efficiency of health facilities, equipping them with the latest medical and non-medical equipment, providing therapeutic service packages at its three different levels, raising the quality of health services and their conformity with international standards, developing manpower skills, and benefiting from modern technology that improves health care outcomes.
