On Sunday, President El-Sisi followed up in a meeting on the government’s efforts to support the private sector’s participation in the health sector and to increase investment inflows in the field.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar attended the meeting.

During the meeting, El-Sisi was briefed on the progress rates of some national health projects, according to a presidential statement.

These projects include opening the first branch of the French Gustave Roussy Institute in Egypt, in partnership with El-Salam Hospital, and establishing a medical city at the Nasser Institute (Nile Medical City).

They also discussed the latest developments of the central laboratories project in Badr City and the medical city for educational institutes project in the New Administrative Capital, added the statement.
