Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), the Bahrain Diabetes and Obesity Conference (BDOC) will begin on November 20.

The two-day event, organised by the Bahrain Diabetes Society (BDS) and Educationplus, will feature key discussions, lectures, workshops, and panel sessions addressing health and quality of life, diabetes and women, obesity, heart health, mental health, and community health.

The event will also include the unveiling of a book to promote awareness of women’s health, particularly diabetes during pregnancy.
