Polio Vaccination Campaign (Jan 21-25, 2024):

Mission: Combat circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) through high-quality supplementary immunization activities (SIAs).

Focus: Enhance vaccination quality via:

• Improved planning and micro-plans:Streamlining logistics and deployment.

• Boosted team performance:Training and supervision of vaccination teams, especially in hard-to-reach areas.

• Addressing access barriers:Identifying and overcoming geographic, security, and cultural challenges.

• Collaboration: Strengthened partnerships with government, health sector, and civil society for coordinated response.
