QRCS Gives Top Priority to Capacity-Building of Health Sectors in Poor, Affected Countries

The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) stressed that it gives top priority to building the capacity of the health sectors in poor and affected countries, by providing health facilities with the needed medications, medical equipment, and supplies, in order to enable them to keep providing treatment, surgical, and ambulance services, as well as ensure that patients receive the high-quality medical care they deserve.

In a statement on Sunday, QRCS said that its Projects Guide 2025 features 73 projects to meet the health care needs of almost 699,000 beneficiaries, at a total cost of QR 84 million. These include 48 health projects worth over QR 68 million, to treat and serve 689,900 patients in Palestine (Gaza and the West Bank), Syria, Yemen, Niger, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Bangladesh.
