One dengue patient died and 1,083 were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.

"During the period, 85 dengue patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 137 in Chattogram, 171 in Dhaka division, 242 in Dhaka North city while 151 in Dhaka South, 140 in Khulna, 74 in Rajshahi, 35 in Mymensingh, five in Sylhet and 12 were admitted to different hospitals in Rangpur division," said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
