The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has recently conducted its 4th training workshop for practicing physicians and specialists from various medical disciplines, focusing on the core services of occupational health.
The primary objective of this workshop was to build the capacity of physicians working in primary healthcare and to enhance their knowledge in the field of occupational health, with the intention of raising the quality of services provided, improve prevention efforts, and enhance the management of work-related diseases and occupational accidents.
Approximately 40 physicians participated in the workshop, including those from the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), Workers' Health Centers under the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), as well as physicians from various government institutions and companies. The workshop was delivered by consultants and specialists in occupational and industrial medicine from MoPH, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), and QatarEnergy.
