The Kuwait Center for Disease Prevention and Control (KCDC), affiliated with the Ministry of Health (MoH), organized a specialized workshop on Sunday under the title ‘Developing Public Health Emergency Protocols,’ in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET).
In a press statement, the MoH said the initiaitve falls under the framework of the national program for managing rapid response team during public health emergencies. The program aims to build national capacities and qualify health professionals to respond effectively to crises.
