Jordan has ranked 99th out of 193 countries in the 2025 Human Development Index (HDI), according to the latest quarterly report from the Executive Program for the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) 2023–2025, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
The Jordanian government introduced several initiatives aimed at boosting human development indicators, particularly in healthcare and education. In the healthcare sector, the government has implemented updated guidelines for healthcare providers, with a special focus on improving maternal and child health services at primary health centers. The goal is to enhance the quality of care for vulnerable populations.
