The National Health Survey Committee, comprising the Ministry of Health and the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), organised a training workshop on “Data Analysis Methods” in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).
Dr. Samya Bahram, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health at the Ministry of Health, emphasised that the National Health Survey is a fundamental tool for monitoring the health status in the Kingdom. It provides an accurate database that supports the development of health services and policies. She expressed her gratitude to the WHO for its valuable technical support during the workshop.
Duaa Sultan Mohammed, Deputy Chief Executive of Statistics and Population Registry at the iGA, highlighted the importance of such workshops in developing national staff capabilities and enhancing the efficiency of implementing and analysing health survey results.
