The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Syriana Foundation, organized on Wednesday a workshop titled “Future  Project”, in order to Localizing Health staff in Syria and Activating a constructive role of the  migration in Supporting Local staff in Damacus.

The two-day workshop will discuss the current state of health crew migrating, its economic impacts, and its implications for health services.

The workshop dealt with the issue of Syria suffering from  a shortage of health workers and those with rare specialties.

The European Union’s health sector official, Ada Costa-Relli, highlighted the need to work to limit the migration of crew, as it significantly impacts the health sector and the quality of services provided.
