Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), opened the 4th Bahrain International Conference of Antimicrobial Resistance and Infectious Diseases, organised by the Infectious Diseases Association of the Bahrain Medical Society in cooperation with Education Plus. The conference brings together experts and speakers from more than 25 countries, along with healthcare officials, doctors and specialists.  

Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation and sharing medical and scientific expertise to address health challenges related to infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. He highlighted the role of specialised scientific conferences in keeping up with the latest developments and supporting efforts to improve the quality of healthcare.
