With over $1 million in additional funding, the groundbreaking Health and Gender Support Project in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, will further expand access to health services for vulnerable people.
Implemented through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with assistance from UNOPS, the $6.4 million project has made significant progress towards improving access to health, nutrition and population services as well as response services for gender-based violence.
“UNOPS is committed to supporting the government of Bangladesh in its efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and services,” said Sudhir Muralidharan, UNOPS Country Manager in Bangladesh.
