Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, on Sunday witnessed the signing of a new Country Cooperation Strategy (CCS) between Egypt and the World Health Organization (WHO) for 2024–2028, outlining a roadmap to enhance public health and strengthen the national healthcare system.
According to a Health Ministry statement, the strategy aims to support Egypt’s efforts to modernise health infrastructure and build national capacities toward achieving universal health coverage (UHC), in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt Vision 2030.
