Egypt’s Healthcare Authority (EHA) is moving forward with Huawei to establish a national center for health data science and AI applications, the Cabinet said Thursday, following a memorandum of understanding signed in China in April.

EHA head Ahmed El-Sobky met with Huawei’s First Vice President, Wind Li Junfeng, on July 17 to review progress. The planned center will serve as a hub for innovative healthcare technologies, supporting Egypt’s digital transformation in the medical sector.
