Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Chairman of the Bahrain Diabetes Society, attended the Bahrain Diabetes Conference and the Global Diabetic Foot Course 2025, held on November 12–15 in Manama. The event brought together more than 200 specialists from Bahrain, the GCC, and several European and Asian countries.
The conference coincided with World Diabetes Day and highlighted the importance of regional and international cooperation in addressing diabetes and its complications. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah said Bahrain has made significant progress in improving healthcare quality and chronic disease prevention, supported by national policies and effective regulation.
