'100 Days of Health' marks milestone in developing Egypt’s healthcare system

Presidential Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag el Din on Saturday 9/8/2025 said that the "100 Days of Health" initiative represents a qualitative leap in the development of Egypt’s healthcare system.

He added that the initiative aims to bridge the gap between medical services and people's needs, particularly amid the ongoing expansion of the Universal Health Insurance System (UHIS).

In statements to Extra News channel, Tag el Din said that the initiative helps deliver medical services to remote and deprived areas, providing regular and comprehensive medical check-ups that enable the early detection of chronic and hereditary diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, kidney disorders, anemia in children, stunting, and certain genetic conditions.
