Die Home - Die in the Frontline

The husband has only arrived at the conflict frontline crossroad carrying his painful wife, optimistically determined to save her from both bullets and postpartum complications.

Childbirth happening outside the walls of an equipped health facility severely led to Postpartum Failure. A mother should be experiencing joy and happiness on the birth of a beautiful new baby; yet, Bahjah (her name means joy and happiness) experienced suffering, grief and despair when a midwife assisted delivering her baby in Mahliah district, Ma`rib governorate, Yemen.

Bahjah, a young married woman whom her family thought that they would be happy ever after the birth of an adorable baby ignoring the unsafe delivery conducted by a midwife.

A day after the childbirth, the young woman showed no sign of recovery; she still bleeding, experiencing a tragic and terrible health condition.

The midwife visited her and recognized a delivery flaw “she must be taken to a hospital where a gynecology specialist is found.” She informed the family.
