Dengue cases spike across Bangladesh: Health Minister

Necessary measures have been taken to deal with a rise in dengue cases, says Health Minister Prof Dr Samanta Lal Sen.

“We do not want dengue to go out of control,” he said on Tuesday (July 9) in Dhaka.

He said there was enough saline in stock. “I have already held meetings with various companies so that there is no shortage of saline,” he said.

We have held several meetings with the Ministry of Local Government and two mayors, he said, adding that dengue must be tackled by joint initiative.
