AMMONNEWS- The Jordanian Minister of Health Dr. Abdul Latif Wriekat stated that Jordan bears tremendous health, economic and social burdens as a result of the increasing number of Syrian refugees who fled their country due to the current harsh conditions they experienced there.

In his meeting with the representative of the World Heath Organisation (WHO), the Minister added that despite Jordan’s limited resources and the hard economic conditions it suffers from, it still plays a distinctive humanitarian role in hosting Syrian refugees.
