Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi gave on Sunday his directives to renovate Nasser Medical Institute in Cairo to become an integrated medical city and to increase its capacity and efficiency using international medical expertise, the Egyptian Presidency announced.
In a meeting with officials from the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, El-Sisi gave his directives to upgrade Nasser Medical Institute to turn it into an integrated city.
He also discussed and reviewed efforts to renovate the institute by adding new buildings, departments, and sections, in addition to renovating its already established buildings to increase its hospital bed capacity by 1000 additional bodies.
President El-Sisi also gave his directives to add new kidney units as well as service buildings in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
The Egyptian President and the officials also reviewed the projects of the authority nationwide especially the highways, road axes projects, and projects in the Administrative Capital.
