Rabat - Tunisia has mobilised a civil defense team comprising 56 individuals along with a fully-equipped field hospital to support Moroccan recovery efforts following the devastating magnitude 7 earthquake.
The powerful earthquake, measuring a magnitude of 7, has left a trail of destruction in its wake, with over 2,000 casualties confirmed so far.
A video was shared online showing Tunisian Interior Minister Kamal Feki addressing the dedicated team before their departure.
Feki expressed Tunisia's solidarity with Morocco saying, "Under the leadership of the president, we will head to the brotherly country Morocco, to our dear brothers who incurred this natural disaster."
