Bahrain’s parliamentary group, represented by Hala Ramzi Fayez, Shura Council member, and MP Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, participated in a workshop organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and World Health Organisation (WHO) on “Women’s, Children’s, and Adolescent’s Health”, as part of the 149th IPU General Assembly in Geneva.

The group noted the key role of legislative bodies in shaping policies and enacting laws to improve public health and ensure access to reproductive health services.
