The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has launched bivalent COVID-19 vaccination for individuals 18 years of age and older at 15 medical centers, starting from today (Wednesday).
The bivalent COVID-19 vaccines are boosters that aim at keeping better protection against the original virus strain and a component of the Omicron variant, the ministry said in a press statement.
People can get vaccinated with the new booster at least a couple of months after the last vaccine dose, be it the second shot or the booster, regardless of the type of vaccines, the ministry added.
