Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) has signed an agreement with the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) to advance research and knowledge exchange and facilitate collaboration across key public health areas.
In the presence of Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Health, the agreement was signed by Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the ADPHC and Dr. Ahmed Ogwell, Acting Director, Africa CDC. Also present were Maryam Al Mazrouei, Director of the African Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Ahmed Al-Marrashida, Deputy Director of the Department of International Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The partnership aims to bolster collaboration and information exchange between the two parties to facilitate effective response mechanisms to public health challenges by creating an open corridor that fosters a synergistic partnership in skill-building initiatives.
