The ongoing requirement to exchange, expertise and enhance capabilities in the medical
field was stressed by the Health Minister yesterday. This came as Dr Jalila Hassan inaugurated the Second Health Regulatory Conference and Exhibition at Bahrain Conference Centre, Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The three-day conference organised by National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) along with BDA covers a variety of topics, including granting and renewing accreditation to hospitals and medical centres, developing regulations and legislation, licensing healthcare facilities, launching the “Monshaat” and “Mehan” initiatives, regulating and arbitrating the use of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, as well related subjects.

“This conference will contribute a lot towards the Kingdom’s healthcare sector when it comes to boosting our national competencies. Innovation is vital to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the healthcare system.”
