Algeria and Tunisia Discuss Strengthening Healthcare Cooperation and Partnership


The Algerian Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Ouacim Kouidri, received Monday, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mustapha Ferjani, with whom he discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and partnership between the two countries, said the ministry in a statement.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on ways to develop bilateral cooperation and strengthen partnerships between operators from both countries, contributing to supporting local production, transferring expertise, and achieving pharmaceutical security, the source added.

This official visit by the Tunisian Minister of Health to Algeria, from 1 to 3 February, leading a high-level delegation, is part of efforts to strengthen the Algerian-Tunisian cooperation and partnership in the pharmaceutical and medical supplies sector, serving both countries’ mutual interests and promoting health and industrial integration, according to the same source.
