Afghanistan’s Minister of Public Health, Noor Jalal Jalali, has departed for Saudi Arabia on an official visit aimed at enhancing health sector cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, the visit will include a series of high-level meetings between Jalali and his Saudi counterpart, as well as discussions with representatives from the Gates Foundation, the World Health Organization’s Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO), and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief).
Officials said the trip seeks to expand collaboration in healthcare development, exchange technical expertise, and explore new avenues for humanitarian and public health partnerships.
